THANKSGIVING 2025
Sunday, November 23, 2025, the Year of Our Lord

I am persuaded an earthly foundation was founded and a heavenly portal was opened in America at the first Thanksgiving in 1621 by the Plymouth Pilgrims. This occasion was a celebration of their harvest, gratitude for divine intervention in their survival, and an alliance with the Wampanoag Indians.
I believe this portal, commission and divine appointment for our nation stills stands and is being followed through on God’s Divine timetable.
The Holy Bible speaks of many portals: Abraham had many divine visitations. God appeared to him in human form in Genesis 18, at the oaks of Mamre. God appeared to Moses in the burning bush.
Divine visitation through heavenly portals is a normal throughout the Bible. The visitations are pivotal and represent times when God intervenes in human history for His Kingdom purposes, as well as our lives personally.
I have been blessed to receive multiple divine visitations whether through open vision or in dreams. I have often shared with you the vision I had while living in Baton Rouge of being slain into a trance in my family room. An angel came and took me up this ladder to a certain place where “she” cleaned off all of the earthly attachments clinging to me. (She cleaned me up of something. I assume it was my earthly mindsets.) She then took me to Heaven. I believe the ladder was a portal. I could identify it with Jacob’s ladder. (I didn’t have to wrestle with God.) That was when I was taken to the steps leading up into the Cloud wherein was Jesus Christ in light and glory. P.S. I was wearing a warm-up suit and while the angel was cleaning me up, I was thinking, “I am not dressed properly to go to Heaven.”
“Heavenly portals are also open in our dreams or semi-conscious states where heaven can speak to us and give us answers. One example is Matthew’s account of the birth of Jesus… Another is the Mount of Transfiguration.”
I shared with you last Sunday that I am persuaded Eastgate Church opened a prophetic portal at Little White Church to West Houston/Katy, TX. I further believe we have been sent to this location 15-miles west of Litle White Church to open an Apostolic portal. No, I don’t know how this will unfold or what it will look like, but I know how to “walk” forward in all the LORD shows me to do.
Col. 4:2: Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.
I believe the vision I had of the four white horses during the Feast of Tabernacles was via an open portal. It was made very clear; they were sent by God from His throne with a message to be delivered to His people.
This week, in conversation with someone about “equity,” the LORD showed me a “key” to the portal “realms” of His prosperity:
“God’s economy is higher than man’s economy. Blessed is the man who finds it. Man, measures equity penny for penny; dollar for dollar. God’s economy is without measure.”
3 Jo. 1:2: Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your souls prospers.
I have heard in the Spirit at different times over years, “Carolyn, I am taking you into a greater level of my prosperity.” That means there are levels of prosperity in Christ Jesus. Prosperity includes good health, peace, and love as well as financial provision.
The key is to place ourselves by faith and mindsets into trusting the LORD’s blessings of health, well-being, life, peace, prosperity--- his provision and goodness which He has already abundantly provided. We do not put our trust for life in the provision of man i.e. government of men. God may use your government, but we must never make civil government our provision or our hope.
We are studying the Song of Solomon on Tuesday mornings. This is the journeys of the Bride from salvation, through the baptism of the Holy Spirit, into the throne room then into the Throne. Along the way, she is delivered from fear of man, visited with courage, delivered into supernatural peace, delivered into the joy of the LORD, and on and on. I have been delivered by divine visitation into each of those blessings/heavenly portals through my life journey. I also know the pain of the soul (mind, will and emotions) prior to my deliverance.
“The key is to get ourselves into the heavenly portal of prosperity that flows from the vats of heaven, and we will see the eternal realm of heaven’s treasures which we have been given. We will be able to access the portal of supernatural provision for the seasons of life. We will be able to bring provision into the earthly realm because it is already ours in the eternal realm. We possess all that is in the eternal realm because of the redemption of time. Our biggest problem is opening the heavenly portal by faith and shifting from the earthly to the eternal.” (Candance Smithyman – paraphrased by me).
Perhaps the angel who cleaned and prepared me for heaven, took away any earthly mindsets that would keep me from accessing God’s eternal portals. Lord Jesus, I would like to see more healings, deliverances, and miracles.
We must enter the eternal realm and cause it to impact the earthly realm. We must shift ourselves through a portal out of the earthly realm and into the heavenly realm. If you can see it, you can have it. We are called to walk as citizens of heaven on earth.
Phil. 3:20-21, NLT: But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control.
We are walking along in a pathway already created for us.
Eph. 2:10: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.
“When Paul says we are His workmanship, that means we were “made appointed” ---we were ordained by God to be carriers of His good works on the earth. We are appointed as citizens of Kingdom royalty in the earth realm. We abide in Him. We are banded together with Him. We are committed. We are in a place of performing, purpose and yielding. We are the created workmanship with His goodness inside us.”
“God has before ordained” – “Eternal time is finished and complete, and the current time is earthly. The earthly realm reflects heaven, which is timeless and complete already.”
Speaking of time. It is said the older we get, time seems to speed up. Well, it certainly does for me. A year is like a month, a week is like an hour. Perhaps it is because I am slower and I don’t fill my time with the same accomplishments I did when I was younger. But it does seem to me that Christmas is being unusually rushed this year as if we were on a collision course of time.
But we must not think it terms of being “older,” “sickness,” or” death.” There is so much life in each of us. No one in this congregation has even begun to tap into your eternal prosperous life in its fullness. You haven’t even tapped into how smart you are. Your brain cells are still popping with eternity.
The more we come to know the eternal time frames and operate in heavenly portals, the more we understand the power we walk in and the goodness of our Lord.
It takes time to grab hold of the truth and power of God’s Word. We must wash in the water of the Word of God that we are eternal now and earthly second. Earth has to submit to our eternity. This is why we will not die, but just get a new address in Heaven.
No matter what life throws at us, we walk in the eternity inside of us. It is called a walk because we must walk out our heavenly citizenship until it becomes a reality.
He told Joshua 1:3: Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
We have been put in a position of authority over the earthly realm simply by walking. Why then do people give the devil credit and place?
That is why I can say to you, “Yes!”
I don’t know what it will look like as we go forward into our new ministry assignment, but I know how to “walk” forward, one step at a time.
God wants miracles and healings to come. He wants us to live and move in heavenly portals. The Israelites walked from Egypt to the Promised Land. They had to walk for 40 years. Their feet didn’t swell. Their clothes didn’t fall off. God gave them water from a rock and manna from heaven. The supernatural was released. Even in the midst of their failures.
PRAYER FOR OPEN PORTALS

“Lord, we thank you for our ascension seat and the heavenly realm of prosperity You have positioned us to be in. We thank you Father, because according to Your word in Ephesians 2:6, we are seated with you in Heavenly places, the doors are open already, and we have total access. Father, we praise and thank You in the mighty name of Jesus. We are grateful for open portals where heavenly visitation can come. We ask for encounters with angels. We ask for the faith to believe in Your goodness and love and what Jesus Christ has done for us that we might be saved, healed, and carriers of the good news, and so can those we love.
Just as the angels came to Mary and Elizabeth to say, “I have good news,” let us be carriers of the good news. The joy of the LORD is our strength. Help us live in the joy of the LORD every single day because heaven is a joyous place, and we are in the prosperity realm. Living in joy means we are opening ourselves to portals of prosperity. Living in portals of prosperity means the glory of the LORD is being released. Anything less than that means we’re not living out the inheritance that You have given us.
Father, we thank you in the mighty name of Jesus for all that You have done for us. Teach us Lord to pray from the place of ascension. All we ask is already ours because we are heavenly citizens and because You go to the Father on our behalf. We give You glory, honor, and praise for the dominion of life we are kingdom rulers of, and we are grateful that we can exercise our authority in the realm of the earth because You defeated sin, death, and the grave and ascended to the heavenly realm. All honor is Your!”
